- Dad's Journey 2009-2010
- Dad has had a rough year and a half. After Throat Cancer, prostate cancer, and then removal of his Voice box. He is now fighting pancreatic cancer and has 4-6 months to live. He has been traveling to Cancer Treatment Center of America. He has had 3 treatments of chemo through IV,and daily dosing with oral chemo. He is so brave and strong and we continue to pray for a miracle.

Called mom this morning bright & early, prayed with her. Doctor appointment is at 10am. We have lifted dad up to the Lord and with hopes he can heal him. Whatever the outcome we know that we are not in control, but the Lord is. Please say a little prayer for dad and mom today, to be with them no matter what the news may be. God Bless!!..

I talked with Dad tonight and he seems to be doing very well. He is very Optimistic. The Doctor told him today that the CT and bone scan results showed no signs of cancer but the biopsy of the prostate did. It seems to be isolated just in the prostate. Treatment will be discussed after he goes to the followup exam on his throat March 16.
